A Summertime Family Photography Session in Carmel, Indiana
I met up with the Konopa family at Central Park in Carmel, Indiana for their family photography session. Lindsey and Joe were so wonderful with their three kiddos and each member of their family made the time so fun. Between the snuggles, giggles, and piggy back rides? Well, this session was filled with heartfelt, joyful moments.

Because, friend, in 20 years, you’ll look back on those images that exude the joyful energy of your child and your heart will melt all over again.
It’s always my goal for the images of your children to feel like the essence of childhood, and we were able to do just that for this sweet family.
The photos we captured of Joe and Lindsey individually with their children are some of my absolute favorites. Not only were Joe and Lindsey totally relaxed, they were able to embrace each of their kids and enjoy them during their family portrait session.
Heartfelt, emotive family photos that take you right back
Photos do more than preserve memories – they take you right back to the emotions of the moment. They take you back to the golden days of your little ones and this season of nurturing their little hearts. That’s why candid images are a staple of my process. You need more than the classic “everyone smiling at the camera” photos. Those are nice, but you really need a third person perspective to bottle up the sweetness, the tenderness… the way you wrap them up in big bear hugs. The way your daughter plays with your hair, or the giggles your son makes when you make a silly noise!
